This upgrade allows the clamping force to be applied central to the load of the tooling. In some cases, the top stack of a multi-stack clamp tool will pull away from the bend die insert. By moving the force load to the center of the tool stack, we can minimize this pull away to allow for quicker tool set up and more consistent part results.

This upgrade, shown on the Z and X-axis will allow for consistent and smooth motion. Achieving this motion will increase speed and accuracy, permitting the tube to move at an accelerated rate between stacks and to generate a more consistent part. This upgrade would also apply to the follower, clamp or any component where a slide and gibb system is in place.

This upgrade will assist in bending heavy wall tubes and tubing under 1D radius. This upgrade is offered from 3,000 - 10,000lbs or as per customer requirements.

Due to the layout of our hydraulic system, the bender is easy to service and maintain. The manifold area contains all of the valves in a central location on the bender. A service technician can work on the hydraulic system and see the cylinder that the valve operates.
